Tough to see the stamp pad with any degree of detail (the a/c compressor and a.i.r. pump make getting a good photo difficult), but the sequencing looks good and most of the other “must have” items (M-20/3.55) are there. Even has the 1972 specific starting instructions still in place on the sun visor. Pretty loaded car too… Deluxe interior, power steering, power brakes, power windows, am/fm stereo… Good color combination too. Only drawback is the luggage rack.
Will be following this one to see what it goes for.
I agree with Stan on the luggage rack. Without seeing the car in person or having it inspected during the sale process, I'd say this car was very well-bought by the buyer - if it was in the condition represented and with the provenance mentioned. $53k for a seemingly well-restored/preserved C60 seems like an excellent buy to me - notwithstanding the current softness in the market. Overall - a really nice and rare car.

I would agree with your assessment. The buyer really made out on this car.
These 1972 LT-1C-60 coupes should be going for $75,000-$80,000 all day long for a nice car (which this one appears to be). The 1970-1972 LT-1s are starting to get their due, but prices are still lagging from where they should be (in my opinion).
