1971 454/365 with automatic transmission. Car will only start in Park with cable disconnected from column and trans. After market cable installed. Car would only start in neutral at first with cable connected and adjusted. Could the length of this repro cable be the issue? This is a photo of my cable bracket mounted on the trans. Do the pins where the cables connect look like the are in the correct locations. I’ve reviewed a video on line for an earlier C3 where the connection for the cable from the column is on the opposite side.
