Drive safely guys, and double check everything. A fatal involving a '73 here yesterday. Looks like he was merging and either didn't see the garbage truck or miss-judged its speed.
FWIW, after being used to today's vehicles, I sometimes find the side mirror in my C-4 to be inadequately small. We'll never know if that was a factor here but just another thing to bear in mind.
Thanks for sharing and for the bringing the thought of mindfulness up. We all are guilty sometimes of being absent minded or too comfortable when operating these machines that can quickly change or end our, our passengers or others lives. Can’t believe some of the stupid risks I took when younger.
Yeah I'm on the receiving end of these if they make it to the hospital. Every time I drive the C3 it's in the back of my mind and try to approach driving as if on a motorcycle and remain hypervigilant. Be safe out there.

Good advice and the approach I take as well. Drive like you are on a motorcycle. When you take the door panels off on an early C3 there is no safety in there. Kind of scary given all the distracted driving.
