Awhile back I purchased a set of tops that have glass inserts. First question do any of you know who made these as im wanting to put new seals on them and second, right now they are black in color and while that isn’t the worst I think I want them white to match the car, can I scuff and shoot them or do they need to be stripped bare? I assume they are fiberglass. Here’s a picture to give a idea of what they are.
I believe you have a set of Moon Roofs that were produced by Saratoga tops. If the black is in good shape and not peeling, you should be able able scuff the outside frames and have them painted to match your car. I believe those were only made a couple of years. They are somewhat rare and look to be in good shape.
Thanks, I also have a set of what I was told are Saratoga tops and they are a complete smoked panel so I guess these would be moon roofs so thanks for the clarification as I try to find new seals for them.
