$50k for an automatic ‘72 small block?? What am I missing

Am I missing something special about this car? This guy is asking $50k for a basic small block ‘72 with what looks like old paint. And he reduced it from almost $60k

Thats what I was thinking but I also thought maybe I was missing something. Im not looking for a car but I saw this and just didnt get the price

Forgot to add that my estimate would be if the frame and cage were decent.

a seller can "ask" whatever price he wants for anything. (as it is said, there is an *** for every seat, lol) doesn't mean it's correct, fair, affordable or even rational. the answer is does he really want to sell it or is he just hoping to find someone who has lived under a rock for the last 50 or so years? chances are as noted above it may be a long while before he actually does sell it.
