Are you asking what size? The modern equivalent of the GR70x15 is the P225/70R15. As far as brands the most common used on 70's Corvettes are BFG TA Radials and Cooper Cobras.
...the P225/70R15 BFG T/A for '73-'77 works very well, has a great fit, look & ride. My $.02 cents. The Goodyear polysteel white letter radial was also another great radial for these cars but sadly was discontinued many moons ago. I went through a few sets back in the day and loved them.

I agree, the Polysteel was a good tire, they came out in 78 and was the standard tire on 78-82 Corvettes (78 was the first year for the P-metric tire sizes). I ran P225/70R15 Polysteel's on my 62 for years. Kelsey Tire is reproducing the Goodyear Polysteel, but it's not cheap at $530 per tire.
The OEM GR70x15 tire for 73-77 Corvettes was the junk Firestone 500 and the Goodyear Steelgard. When the Firestone 500's were finally recalled in 77 they were replaced with Firestone 721's, but the 721 was not factory installed on Corvettes. By then Chevrolet was only putting Goodyear tires on Corvettes. Kelsey is reproducing the Steelgard also, and like the Polysteel is $530 each.
I've been running 255/60-15's for years and years now. I've run BF Badrich , thought they were horrible. Ran Cooper' and Mickey Thompson, (Same tire, same factory). Better.
run the Galaxy's now. Better still.
Speedo is just about spot on with the 255/60-15's. That's a plus. They fill the wheel wells so they look good.
I'm probably the lone contrarian here as being underwhelmed when it comes to the popular BFGs which admittedly I haven't run in a couple decades now. But I don't have much to recommend as there are no really great tires in this size. The General Altimax is a reasonably modern tire which I've had outstanding service with on my old Firebird. Cooper Cobra would be another option to consider. But for most classic car use cases - I don't think you can go too wrong here. Let us know what you get and how you like them.
