automatic shifter assy parts

Bent pivot pin
Bent detent tab
Looks 51 yrs old to me....explains a few things regarding assembly care. Not sure how else it would get there.

I'd try mounting the shifter to a solid surface or in a vise and see if I could use a drift to straighten the pivot. After that, it's probably a pretty straight forward job to rebuild it.
'Zat a piece of wood or a doobie?
Check out this great post on automatic shifter restoration. I used it as guidance for refurbishing the T-400 shifter I bought on ebay.

Look at that post I added above. Looks like most of it is there and you can just clean it up. ....about that bent pin: I was gonna say you could probably fabricate a new pin but I found one for $10.99
