Default Recommendations for North Texas

Friends,

I have searched this thread and found some older posts, however have made some calls and most won't do the work unless they are doing some of the work. I am in the home stretch of my build with a little less than 4 hours of solid work left. With everything except the body being replaced
, I will need a good alignment done immediately after getting it started. Are there any good recommendations on a shop to do an alignment?

I also have a second recommendation i am in need of a little help on. With my early 68, they don't reproduce the upper reveal moulding, and it being slightly damaged, it will need a little tlc and since it can't be installed without removing the windshield, which I have heard will break if I even try separating it from the frame. Does anyone recommend anyone to do the windshield and who will install those pieces as part of the windshield install that cost me a fortune? or if you have a secret that will let me seperate the windshield and let me rephrase install it let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

It would help to know what area you are in and where you are willing to travel.... North Texas is over 770 miles wide and 96,000 square miles, and there are over 200 cities and towns within the DFW area alone!

Ha. This is a fair question. I'll narrow it down to anywhere within about 50 miles of Mckinney would be helpful.

Ha, that helps thanks! There is a shop near 75 and E Plano Parkway which is just south of you. I think they do all the alignments for Carr's Corvettes which is just up the street. Carr's does a lot of restorations but they are big $ so I don't recommend them for any work. But this shop should have the expertise for your C3, I'd give them a ring and ask....

Thank you! I appreciate this. Any tips on the windshield dilemma I'm having?

Any time

As for as the windshield/ upper reveal molding, both should be able to handle what you are needing done. I have not used Duntov but they come highly recommended in the area. Carrs has a really nice setup, stop by and they will give you a tour of the shop.
