Default C3 trailing arm rebuild

Hi All!
many years ago ...1988 to be exact I as a young lad of 25 replaced the rear spindle and bearing assemblies on my newly purchased 1977 corvette, it had 18,000 miles and being 10 years old figured the bearing needed to be serviced, so I decided to replace the spindles and bearings ..setting endplay of course. Now Im an older lad at 62 and want to replace the rear TA bushings and bearings (43,000 original miles) if needed BUT I dont want to do them myself, I am looking for a shop or person who can rebuild them to factory specs in the upstate New York Albany area. Does anybody have any contacts ?.

Thanks!

Rookie advice below......

You may have to toss them in a box and ship them to a dependable rebuilder or you can do a core exchange and get rebuilt arms back to you faster.

Contact member GTR1999, his name is Gary and he’s from Connecticut, he will set you straight on your trailing arm questions, and he does very good work.

2nd vote on Gary Ramadei (GTR1999). Best there is when it comes to rebuilding trailing arms.

You mean Bairs. They did mine too. I delivered them there. Had them back in a week, in those nice boxes.

Gary is doing my arms now, along with my differential. Quality work and attention to detail. GRKTHNDR is correct. I did a Google maps and it is around 2 hours 9 min via I-90 E. I live on Long Island and took the ferry and spent around the same amount of time in transit. I have lots of pics if you’re interested. Plus Gary can handle special requests. I track my car and wanted 1/2 inch racing stubs. Not an issue.

The only issue is that Gary’s work is so much in demand, you may have to drop them off and wait for your turn.

BTW: if you can, you may want to consider 1/2 wheel studs, if possible. I had my drivers side tire pass me on the left when the stock studs snapped.
