First Corvette First Post!
my father had a 81 and many others but this was the car I always heard stories about so therefor this is the car that I always wanted
His was a 81 white with blue interior
i found a 82 black with blue interior so I bought it and planned to paint it white but the thought of my truck being faster than this vette didn’t sit right with me
so I found a 383 to swap in it
the engine is in.
currently correcting the power steering and throttle cable needed to be redone after that I’ll get it painted
overall the car was great little interior blemishes
light rust in the passenger side kick panel of the birdcage
any tips or advice would be great as this is my first time doing anything like this or owning a classic
Man that’s a great swap. . Previous owner of my 82 pulled engine, computer, and all associated wiring and put an SP350/385 GM crate motor in, great engine and I’m loving it. Enjoy your swap and drive forever..

is anything done to your trans? or is it original?
Nice looking car. And should be a blast with the bigger engine. Controlling that torque converter is a issue. And that's NOT going to fit under the hood. But all problems that can be solved.
