Help date-coding my tires
My new '77 came with a set of Cooper Cobras, which are currently in the process of being switched out for a brandy-new set of BFG Radial T/A's.
The car shows 52k miles, which I *think* is original. Am I interpreting the date code on the Coopers correctly, i.e., were these tires manufactured in 2000?!?

Dang. I guess that illustrates how little this car has been driven over the decades, considering that the tires are 26 years old but still legal from a tread depth standpoint.
