Found a C3 I can finish out my years with.
had a bunch pf C2s and 3s when I was younger.
Always loved the flares. I guess Corvette Summer had a slight influence along with my love of the IMSA style.
70 manual, needs motor & tranny. Headlights put in some where or cut out for recessed lights. Beautiful interior, suspension rebuilt with urethane and aftermarket springs front and rear. No rust!
Plans: I have a nasty 408ci stroker LS with a TKX 5 speed in the garage looking for a home. Im hoping the shifters in the right place. Will be using a Terminator X operating system.
want side pipes, so ill have to figure that out.
Almost done with a redo on a 61 Buick LaSabre convertible with A/C. Then the vette. Wrong front clip, but ill figure something out.
I agree with Transzam, too bad they messed up the flames..
Lets see the Buick, my favorite Uncle was a Buick guy and he got new ones often and some of them moved right along...

Thanks, very cool car, I really enjoy the unusual ones that are done right. Looking back my uncle was a Skylark guy, probably the 401 in the early ones, I remember going fishing with him, tossing the poles in the back seat and ripping around country roads in upstate PA. He drank old fashions' so sometimes it was a little hairy...lol Thanks Uncle Lee...!!

I would put the chrome bumper nose back on and get the flames matched...
I bought this shifter without the lever and used my own. I love it. It has strong springs and returns to center nicely, cant miss a gear https://www.ebay.com/itm/13444633700...4ea529a81f473e
I cant get the link without the lever to work, its $479....

Thanks Rescue Roger for the TKX "pro tip"!
I was wondering what to do for the shifter. The one I bought was going into a squarebody shortbed 2wd. The shifter is in the wrong spot. I appreciate you sharing a solution and feedback on the product.
TKX I'll be starting on it in a couple months. I'll keep you guys informed ..... and Holler for help and experience on occasion.

You may have to shop for a proper slip yoke with straps so you can remove the driveshaft easily. I bought a bigger one so the right side of my 68 tunnel had to be bulged for clearance...
