I'm looking for Seat Covers for my 1979 C3 Vette. When I look online, all I see are seat cushion replacements.
Yes, the seats fold in half, but unable to locate regular seat covers.
My seats have the cloth in the middle and are Biege in color.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Len
Go to Al Knoch Interiors and order the seat covers for your particular year Corvette. I have his seat covers and they fit perfectly just like the original. He is the man who owns the patterns from GM to make the seats covers or cushions. He is the only person I buy my parts from, my car has his seat covers and convertible tops and numerous other parts.
P.S. My C4 uses replaceable seat cushions where my 1968 C3 uses seat covers. Later cars had fancier seats or even the Sport Seats with air pumps to inflate the parts.
Post a photo! Perhaps you don't have stock seat covers?
Is the issue that you can't find cloth seat (cushion) covers? I'm not sure if they are reproduced, only combinations of leather and vinyl. My 79 originally had cloth seats (the center portion), in a pattern that continued to the door panels. No more, however.
You can check the trim tag inside the driver side door frame, and/or order the dealer invoice from GM to confirm your trim. Link in my signature.
I went to AI Knock Interiors and the pricing for just a Seat Cover is almost or close to the price with foam!
I'm just looking for a general seat cover to protect what I have, not to replace.
