What is this part?

I believe it is a lower alternator support but there is only one hole and it doesn't fit around the headers I'm installing. Besides, there are no holes where it could fit on the AFR Eliminator heads on the engine. I have installed a lower alternator support on the front end of the head where there are perfectly aligned holes for the support bracket. The alternator pulley aligns perfectly with the crank and water pump pulleys.

I was just curious about the part

which I found in a pile of parts from disassembly.

It is a lower alternator bracket when used with headers.. its broken and missing the other mounting tab

Thanks. that's what I thought and since the other bracket works perfectly I will throw this one out.
