What is the difference between a marine carb and an automobile carb Rochester ?

Here’s a thread about them.

It’s also worth noting the throttle blades have a special coating to prevent corrosion. I took one apart and thought it looked neat.

I sincerely hope you are not considering a marine carb for your car. Even if the owner paid you to take it off his hands. Unless, of course, you are planning on fitting your car with pontoons.

Marine-rated starters are Great !

Have used Plenty of marine Rochester 2GC 2-bbl in asphalt circletrack where either 2-bbl Holley 4412 or Rochester are mandated.
