Default Wiring question

I’ll preface this with electric is absolutely not my game. I had realized my brights button on the floor was not working, so I pulled back to find no connection. Problem is, I found two other wires hanging above the pedals, and neither appear to be the wire for the brights button. I’m pretty confused, I struggle with reading wire diagrams. Anyone offer some possibilities or guesses?
Thanks in advance.

1974 L48 AC car, AC not functioning, missing a few components.

Grey wire is instrument lights most likely. The red wire goes to something the previous owner likely tied to that grey wire, something they wanted to go on with the cluster lights. Thats my guess
