My new radio from classic car sound will be here tomorrow, so I’m gonna hopefully install it this weekend if I get the rest of the parts done that I need to do. Anyways, I know other people have put Bluetooth radios in their C3’s. I’d like to see where you guys mounted the microphone. I really don’t want it sticking up in the T top area on the trim. I think that looks tacky as heck but that’s just me. I’m thinking maybe in the speedometer tachometer area if I can attach it up in there using one of the screws that holds that assembly in there. I don’t know what the mounting clip looks like for this radio so that’s going to determine a lot or I’ll just use our 3-D printer at work and make something
Mine was from Custom Autosound, but it looks eerily similar to yours. I’ve had the microphone in the rear compartment for five years because I still haven’t gotten around to installing it. Same dilemma as you.
My phone (Siri) connected to Bluetooth can hear me just fine even with the T-tops off and the side pipes. Phone calls don’t seem to work without the mic plugged in, but I just don’t take calls when I’m in the C3.

well the radio is actually a Custom Autosound that comes from Classic Car Stereo so it's its the same unit.
yea I'm really trying to avoid that area. don't really want the wire hanging out there and when moving the visor around to the side window the mike will be facing the wrong way.
Morning Guys, this is what I did. When I installed the vintage air system in the car it eliminated the center vent damper. I installed the mic in the slot where the damper lever was.
