Most of the quality ones that I have seen for sale within the last 24 months have been in the $300 or plus range. Several have sold on ebay within the last 2 years. I think JT Piper has a NOS one in thier inventory now for sale. You might call them.

Carl: JT Piper is a major used corvette parts dealer. They have been around since about 1975. They can be reached at 1-800-637-6111.. They truly know C3 corvettes. They have started selling on ebay under the name corvettepartsking. They sell ALOT of used and NOS C3 parts. They will even know the difference between a 73 and 74 center grill! I have done business with them since 1980 and found them to be very reputable. If they do not have a part, they will take your name and number and then call you when they find it.
I think their www page is: www.pipersauto.com
They are in Illinois--not far from you in Indiana. Thier www page says they NOW HAVE a 1973 center grill!

Carl, Pipers' is located in Vermillion, Illinois. He's about 20 minutes drive from my house. He's been in the business for years. Has a lot of hard/"impossibe" to find parts. Call the number and ask to speak to James, who is JT's son-in-law. And the "73 grilles ain't cheap!!! No one is reproducing them. I bought one at Bloomongton Gold back in 1994 and gave $75.00 for it then. I believe a '74 center grill is the same, but is all black, rather than chrome on the leading edges like the '73 grille.
Good Luck.............

Carl, you beat me to it are it would have been on my 73. Just kidding, you have more money then I do. It's going to look great on your 73.
But I am looking for one that I can afford, so if there is anyone out there selling a 73 center grille, let me know.

That would be great if you and your bro in law made the center grille. I'll be your first customer. I'll keep a look out for your grille.
You and your family have a safe and happy Thankgiving

And I have to agree they look very nice. But later I may remove it due to what it is worth and replace all of my front grills with a copy that I will make out of aluminum.
