what happened to the new shark emblem thread??
Guy had posting up about making a new shark emblem, had a thread going with several interested, looked at it yesterday, now it's gone. Any thoughts? Yes i search,and even scaned back 4 pages of the for sale section.

Hi..I was told (and I didn't know this), that I wasn't allowed to post, selling any items unless I was a supporting vendor. I have asked 2 moderators for info. on becoming a supporting vendor...I am waiting on theri replies.

Its a shame that they did the "delete" thing on this thread.
I know him and he's just trying to help us all out on this thing.

Greetings everyone...Hope all had a nice Xmas.....Now the stores get MOBBED for the returns!!
Anywho...Yup, really bummed the Mod Squad got me......Just trying to offer something to the forum members.Innocent, harmless, trying to improve upon something that some of us might be interested in.......I haven't heard back in 2 days from the 'squad" on how to become a supporting member. I sent both moderators a Private Message. Hope to hear back soon from them. If the cost isn't excessive, I will become a supporting member..If it is, then not much the "little guy" like me can do.... This is how good ideas and products get "KILLED"..

I have been waiting 3 days for a moderator to get to me to tell me "how to become a supporting member of the forum". A PM was sent to both of the Mods who PM'd me and "deleted" my post.
I would greatly appreciate any Moderaor expounding on what exactly I would need to do to become a supporting member.

A supporting "Member" and a supporting "Vendor" are 2 different things. Make sure your asking about being a supporting "Vendor" If I had kept the PM's the mods sent me rearding the supporting "Vendor" criteria, I would forward them to you. There wasn't a lot of clarity but they will want to know 1. How many you intend to make for forum members. 2. How much, if any profit you intend to make off each one. Etc. Etc.

It seems to me that it shouldn't matter about how much profit is made, but more about helping fellow members out.
This emblem is a unique item that nobody else offers. I can understand if it conflicts with a business that is out there, but this seems to be a guy that wants emblems that aren't offered, so he is having some made. Probably has to have a minimum number to get an order.
Looks like it is a no lose situation for everyone.

My bad..I meant "supporting Vendor" all along....
Why can i help members on Corvette Action center (CAC), and NO issues then come here and a problem with a "deleted post".
I thought I would offer a product to other forum members who may have been looking for something...Nothing else intended...
Maybe a revision to an SOP is in order......Might be agood idea if in the future, before a post like this is deleted, a moderator could CALL the person and speak with them personally..that goes a long way...
Still waiting for a "mod" to PM me or email me....(nothing)...
