My friend who is selling these parts, really does not know what to sell them for, so make him an offer and I will forward it to him. I know he has an offer of $75.00 for the T-tops and $50.00 for the radio, pending. He told me the mirror was new and still in the box. Radio and Mirror are now sold. The T-Tops are still available and he would like to get $100.00 for the pair. They are in good shape and weather stripping is still in place. They are from a 1974 vette.

I don't know what other peoples experience was with this person's parts. But here is my experience. I bought the mirror. It was supposed to be unused but actually, it has pitted chrome and a scratched mirror. And ther is a ring around the base from the plastic spacer showing that it has been used for quite a while. It is also for the driver's side not the passenger side. And the mirror head is loose enough on the ball that I doubt it will stay in place even with normal bumps and vibration. So, it looks like I am out about $60 bucks unless the seller is honest enough to take it back.

Buyer beware. Apparently, it isn't just ebay where people are somewhat less than totally honest.

I HAD SET UP THE DEAL FOR THE RADIO. AND WAITED FOR DAYS FOR THE ADRESS TO SEND THE MONEY, FINALLY GOT A RESPONCE, THE RADIO WAS NO LONGER AVALIBLE. NOT A VERY GOOD WAY TO DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just got back from my friends home and I explained what you said happened. He told me that he did send a used left outside mirror, in addition to the new mirror. He said he included a note that said something to the effect that I hope you can you this. The used mirror. The new mirror is inside the white box that was packed inside the box with the popcorn packing. He said he included the used mirror as he had no use for it since he no longer has a vette. There was indeed a very used mirror also. It was in such poor shape that I will simply throw it away. That's not the one I am referring to. Let's take this up just in emails rather than burden this group with the discussion. I'll send you an email . . . . .
