As to the chrome (do mean the stainless) over the windshield, are you asking about the thin piece, or the wide piece, or both? I have these.

Alarm key hole; I have a million "holes", how many do you want?
Do you want the switch?

I think the only Redlines I have are for '67.

G.

1. all the chrome across the top the wide big parts that the vert top touches when closed, not the windshield surround, mine are scratched.
i'ts part of the parts the top attatches to.
2. i need the 68 only style actual alarm lock & key if poss for rear.
3. my side view mirror glass is original but scratched.
4. any 70-R15 red stripe radial repro tires would work NOT POLY's
5. could also use original green letter / number gauges FUEL & BATT/AMP

Do you have any 1970 front grill parts?
I'm looking for a right side (pass) front grill with turn signal.
The one with mounting studs.
Thanks, Rick W

How much for the column and how is the condition?
Bill,

I think '69 thru '75 are the same. It is '68 that has a smaller column support.

Both columns are in good operating condition, including the turn signal switches.

I'd like to get $450.00 for the '74, and $550.00 for the '69.

None of the door panels I have will be in the condition you desire. These are for parts and for a "better than nothing" situation.
CORRECTION; I do have one nice set of door panels, '69, Dark Saddle.

George,

I guess because of the yellowing of my lenses it might be better for me to buy a couple of repo lenses and keep my eyes open for a wiring harness.
Thanks for looking though.

Would you have the lower windshield frame. The section that is at the bottom of the windshield? Also ignition shields and air cleaner cover for a late 70, dual snorkel.

Thanks

Thanks for the post George. Do you have a "bird cage" for a 68-72 vert?

I have one or two that I could cut out for you.

Could you send a photo or drawing depicting the exact dimension you need?

Thanks,
G

Don,

I have a few fender "halfs", I don't know if I have any whole fenders, I'll look.

I do have the rear marker lights, and I will look to see if I have a good hood release cable/handle.

Thanks,
G.

Greg,

I don't have any vert. cages. Have a few cps. that are in nice condition; can you modify?

Default Read the sticky --

Looks like this thread has ignored the sticky on selling.

List parts with prices.

Hi Mark,

When I read the rule concerning parting out a car (in this case several cars and accumlated parts/pieces), I infer that the primary objectives for listing prices are: 1) to avoid cluttering up the post (wasting space), and 2) to avoid a "go fish" situation.

If I were to ask that every request for these pieces be made by e mail, PM's, and phone calls, would this satisfy the objective to not "clutter" the band width?

I see the questions asked and answered through this post as providing information to all interested parties. ie: weather a part is available, the condition of the part, what parts interchange with what years, options, etc...

I know that I have learned a lot about what pieces interchange, what a part is worth, what condition I might expect to find, etc., by reading FS and WTB posts on this and other Forums through the years.

I'm not quite sure what constitutes a "go fish" situation, so I don't have a comment in that regard.

I do know that several Forum members have found parts for their cars because of this post. You might be amased at some of the requests I have been able to fulfill---a tip of a lower rear fender, an oddball section of a body, a frame brace or section, a metal strip located behind a piece of weather striping, lugnuts and bolts with certain markings, etc.,etc.. I would never be able to think of all this stuff, much less list and price it all in a post.

I think that each post should be evaluated to determine it's value to the General Forum. Hopefully, this post will be viewed in a favorable light.

Regards,

George Wright

Selling "several C3's" worth of parts is no different from parting out several cars. Please list the parts you're offering for sale. With prices included.

13. Parting out cars
You may part out a car, but please list all items available with prices(no offers remember?).
I do realize there are hundreds of parts and subassemblies available, but to avoid cluttering up a thread with requests, it's best to list as many as possible. If and when a "Parting Out" thread turns into a "Go-Fish" thread, it will be locked.
