Fs Original Eagle Gt +4 Tires 245-60-15
WANT THEM ?? i'm thinking of going COKER redline radials.
mine are authentic period eagle gt +4 outline whites 245-60-15 the date was either 1980 or 1982 i'll have to check, they still have all the nubs on them ,no dry rot look like new less then 2,000 miles on them, and still on my car.
I think these were the factory replacements for the GT's when discontinued, but don't quote me. Anyone that wants to make a NCRS flight attempt with the correct or as close to correct date wise, might have an interest in these, PM me...........

...the original Goodyear GT tires were not +4 or 245 series tires. The original tires were Eagle GT white outline 255/60-15R tires.

tires
wow, I bought a 79 that has sat for 15 years and the tires on my car are the Eagle GT white outline 255/60-15R and they are in great shape. I don't know anything about ncrs but it sounds like my tires might be worth something?

The original RWL tires were not Eagle's. The original 255/60 R15's were Goodyear GT Radial tires!
Goodyear's new family of Eagle high performance tires was introduced at Daytona, Florida in 1981...Sorry guys.

Sorry if I'm participating in a thread hijack, but since we're talking about these tires what would a set of original 255/60 Eagle GT's in excellent condition from an '82 be worth? Would you trust these to drive on after 25 years?

One question that I would have about any tires that are very old, dont tires good hard over a period of time. I have had older tires that just dont hold the road properly and they ride so much rougher. Only a question, I may be wrong and need help.
