All I'm asking guys, is that you give it a chance. It's only been a few days.

What happens if I post in the give away thread and someone asks for it, and at the same time someone else has the same item on the wish list thread... kinda confusing.

In my opinion, one Christmas = one Christmas thread

Ok, this thing is pretty beat up. Its from a 75 4-spd. I welded in some sheet metal patches just to get it solid becauce this was my daily driver and I needed to have the car running that day. Don't want to ship it but you can come grab it at my house.

All I need is a pic. If it's different or won't fit then you're welcome to it. I suspect it'll fit just fine though.

The format used for all previous years was much better and easier to follow.

If all would just stop posting "here", it would solve the problem and we would be back "close" to the way it has been in the past. No threats of a ban for a legitimate suggestion

I really don't see what is wrong with having this "wish" thread and I actually think it is a very good idea. It allows those that are in need of some part to let others know of their needs. The other thread is about what you have to give away ... but ya know that little junk item that you won't list in the give away thread because you just can't see how anyone would have a need for it. Well in this thread you may just read that someone does. I just wish all the whining and belly aching would stop and let this thread continue on unhampered. If you do not agree with the spirit of this thread ...that is fine, it is your choice. But just because you disagree with it gives you no right to interfere with the people that do believe and agree with the spirit in which this thread was created. If you don't like this thread ...don't post in it.

That is the point I was trying to make. I have lots of little $1-$5 parts floating around that I'm sure people need but most likely wouldn't start a thread about.

This is EXACTLY why this thread was thought of and introduced this year. Happy Holidays everyone.

This is the only post even close to $1-$5 and it's not a "wish post".

Nobody's going to ask for a $1-$5 part

I am. I have a Lokar throttle cable but I need a ball stud for my carb for it to snap on to. I had some but I gave all my carb parts to Lars a few years ago in another thread like this because I bought a C5 and figured I wouldn't need any carb parts again.. doh!

Pics being sent by PM. It's black and still in the plastic. It came with my car, but the interior is red and I'm not gonna change it now.

I could use the wiper interupt switch for a '69 between the vacuum overides under the column which has a white plastic shaft which is usually broken. They changed to a metal shaft in '70. I have the ****, just need the switch. Worth a try I guess....

Could use a wiper delay module, key-lights-seat belt buzzer module for a 78' (thought I'd try as well )
