Hey Chris, the R is definetly there and is original as far as I can tell. If you get it and don't like it send it back and I will refund your money. No worries. I fly for UPS...How's things at American?

What's interesting is the NCRS tech info manual says original caps have delco remy and a patent number. Replacement caps have delco remy, patent pending, and an R. Looks like yours is original.

Lyle would know if he's online?
