My mechanic is working on a guys 71 BB kind of restoring it, and the owner is looking for original motor mount shims "V" shaped, for any 66-74 BB A/C car. Does anybody have 1 or 2 to sell? He doesn't want repros, wants to keep car as close to original parts as possible. I said I would look around for him. Any help would be greatly rewarded. What are we talking about? Can you provide a photo? I just pulled the A/C out of my 71 and still have the parts.

sundevil, if you have a 454 original to your a/c, between the motor mount and the block there is (or should be) a shim, it is "V" shaped and it's purpose to to lift the motor to keep the float bowl level in the carb?!?!?!?!?!? Later....................Bruce

Originals have a 'W' stamp on them. They may have to be cleaned to see the 'W'.
