big block headers
pair of hedmann hedders (headers) for big block C2 or C2. These will fit a tall deck or standard passenger car block in your C2 or C3. Used for literally 10 minutes to demo my tall deck motor in my 68 before I removed the engine. Pulled the 427 to re-install the original motor. 2 tubes "masssaged" for clearance (steering box & frame) to fit with tall deck motor.
By the way, no other mods are required to fit a tall deck motor in a C3, EXCEPT hood clearance. This varies by hood.
Boxed in a hooker header box. WIll ship, but prefer pickup or meet up somewhere. I am in Northwest Connecticut, 100 miles north of NYC
Paid $210 from Summit Racing. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-68090/
$100.00 plus shipping. Ships from zip 06750. Pay by paypal is OK. I have no idea what shipping costs will be. Whatever UPS or FedEX Ground charge, that's what I'll charge.

I have used these same model headers on 2 other BB vettes. They go in very easily, and never had a ground clearance problem. My previpus 68 was a real low-rider with 50 series tires. Never had an issue. This set was only on the car for a very short time, maybe 10 miniutes run time. This so I could sell the motor.
Having 2" tubes really helps. If you have a 7500 RPM motor and drag race competitively, you might want larger tubes. If not, you don't need them.
Thanks,

photos, size, weight, etc.
Howdy boys,
I've been asked a few times for photos, shipping costs, and such. Hopefully this will make it easy for everyone.
The box is 42" x 20" x 10". Weight is 20 pounds. Ship from my zip code, 06750.
If you prepay and email me a UPS label (or FedEx Ground) I will drop the box off at the local shipping center.
Photos with my fat fingers show the area dented to fit tall deck motor in C3. Frame and steering box areas.
Link is to Summit for their description. These are Hedmann hedders, not Hookers. Box was convenient and free.

Price is still $100. You pay to ship or pick them up.
