It's a Hurst Competition Plus shifter.

Corey, what year model Corvette is this setup for ?
Do you know if it will require any mods to the console plate area ?

I purchased it for my '68 and it is a direct bolt on, no mods needed for a C3.

Don't want to hijack this thread but a shifter (actually the shift linkage) is one year unique for 68 due to the way the shift levers attachto the tranny.

Maybe, but I wasn't using a '68 tranny or '68 specific shifter. I was running a universal mount Super T10 4spd from Richmond.

The shifter is still available, not sure if it will fit your '80 however. It will fit the original muncie trannys, I had the shifter on my Richmond Super T10. Only thing you would need to bolt this up would be the mounting bolts.
