1968 427/435 Engine
Hi guys. I'm new to posting to the site, but glad to say it has come in handy for some restoration work I have done in my shop.
Selling a 1968 427/435 L71.
Details:
Block Casting #: 3916321
Serial Stamp #: T1222IR
VIN Ref Stamp #: 18S408359
Cylinder Head #: 3919840
Waterpump #: 3856284
4 Bolt, HI PERF
L 8 O 7 (Dec 8, 1967)
Heads are bare except for rocker studs
Pan has Baffle and bottom end has windage tray.
Short block remains assembled with rotating assembly, oil pump and pickup, cam, lifters, flywheel, balancer
Been sitting awhile, but was able to lube and rotate.
Factory painted Tonawanda valve covers with plant sticker.
Plenty of images and will send upon request in Private Message.
Original tri power engine, but has 4 barrel intake; HOWEVER, this intake has a ground casting number that reflects 3933198. The 98 is hand stamped and plenum has been opened according to L88 requirments. Looks like Jan 8, 1968 (1.6.68) intake casting date.
Asking $6250 obo.
