Default Rally Wheels

**SOLD**Set of 4 rally wheels that came of a 69; codes 14AZ,14AZ,14AZ,16AZ. All four have K1 stamped on them also. They have some slight damage to the lips, definitely could be straightened if you needed them for a restoration-$200 plus shipping or pick up in the Dayton OH area.

I'm interested but have a question. Can you be more clear on the date code.
In other words, does it look like, K-1-9, 1 (Valve stem) 4 AZ? As in January 4 and January 6, 1969?
Thank you,
Ed

Hi Ed,
Here is a picture of one. They basically all look the same. The K1 I was referring to is stamped near the lug hole under the center cap. I don’t have a pic handy of the K1 but this is what you see at the valve stem area. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I can clarify the stampings.

Thank you for the pic.
Before the valve stem should be K-1-? and then another number. The question mark will give the year of the rim, the other number before the valve stem would be the month. The picture you are showing is the day, which is the 16th of some month in some year.

What I am looking for is K-1-9, then 1, valve stem, 16 AZ (or 14 AZ). That would be January 16th of 1969 which is what I'm looking for.

Also need a rim dated in December of 1968. December 20th would be ideal.

Thanks again,
Ed

I see to the left of the valve stem they all have "1"

I only see the "K1" under the center cap.

If you read from left to right.... 1, valve stem hole, 16AZ

Understood. Many times the stamping was done very light on the rims and some characters do not show up. They did not stamp these with the intention of having them read with any importance 40+ years later.
Thank you for checking.

Do all 4 of the rims have the BB shot sized weld? You can see two of them clearly in the top two rims of the pic you posted. Could you post a picture of the code on the left side of the valve stem?

The rims arrived and look fine.
Here is a picture of some of the rims after some of the paint was removed from the date code. The paint was somewhat thick!
Thanks again,
Ed
