69 Style side pipes
Here is an excellent set of side pipes. These are Made By Sweet Thunder for a small block. I orderd these new from Sweet thunder last year and only have about two months on them. The inlets are 2.5 and they sound better than original pipes. 450. obo

I am thinking of replacing my stock rattling 69 side pipes. I am concerned that sweet thunder pipes are louder than stock pipes. I really like the sound of my stock pipes and am looking to duplicate the tone and dB levels. Also , How was the installation and fit under the stock covers? I have heard some installation nightmares with aftermarket pipes.

I cannot tell you how they fit under stock covers. I had them under after market fiberglass covers.
I also cannot tell you the db difference between the two pipes. I could easily carry on a conversation in the car though and listen to the radio.
thanks for inquiry.
