Default F/S: Western Style Wheels

SOLD and GONE NOW. Thank you for looking.

This is the second set of Western Style Wheels I got for my 72 road race car and then went with my American Racing Hurricanes on the car, so these are not being used and should go to a new home.

Wheels are old school, have some bumps and bruises but are straight. These have been media blasted and powder coated steel gray and are ready for use.

These are 8-1/2" X 15" with a 3-1/2" back spacing. These clear the standard Delco Morraine brake calipers but may be a bit too wide for your wheel wells. They came off of a Corvette and have the proper lug spacing for a C-3 Corvette.

I paid $200 for the wheels and I paid $400 to have them powder coated but I know I cannot get that back for them so let me price them at $450 and see if anyone is interested.

I can deliver them to Carlisle for free or you can pick them up for free.

I can ship them, usually costs about $80 to ship four wheels here in the USA, contact me for a firm quote if you are interested.

PayPal, personal check or money order can be used for these wheels.

Please PM me any questions or comments here are good too.

Thank you for looking and best regards,

David Howard

Ahh, you're killing me David. I'm still on the fence about these wheels and kinda hoped you had sold them so it made the decision for me. Are you going to have a booth at Carlisle?

I had those same wheels on an 84 Buick T-Type (the original rims were stolen and that's all I could find that looked similar). That was before powder coating was really popular / affordable. They look great with the powder coating and I bet they should stay "way cleaner" than the "raw" ones I had on my car.

No booth at Carlisle. I'll be there as an attendee this year.

Found my powder coater receipt and adjusted the price to reflect the cost. Was listed at $360, now listed at $450. I know prices typically don't go up but after finding my powder coater receipt I realized I understated my cost. Still losing on this deal, but may hurt a little less.

Carlisle coming...glad to bring them with me for free.

Thanks for looking.

Shipping cost to your location, two boxes, two wheels per box, using UPS ground would be $64.

Thank you for your interest and let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

David

NEW and IMPORTANT Information. The back spacing on these wheels is 3-1/2" which means they will clear the standard Delco-Morraine calipers on your car, however, they are 9-1/2" wide outside bead to outside bead, 8-1/2" inside bead to inside bead, so they will stick out too far if you try to use these on your standard non flared fenders.

Important help from Eric cleared that information up for me and I thank him for that.

Best regards,

David Howard
