F/S: 1975-1976 ACI Tru-Flex Rear Bumper
New, never used. ECF020TF manufactured by American Custom Industries in Sylvania, OH. Manufactured 02/16/16.
This is a tru-flex bumper, black glass.
I got it with the purchase of a 1975 Car but cannot use it.
This bumper sells for $330 plus shipping from most suppliers.
I am asking $250 (firm) for this bumper.
Pick-up or possible delivery if within 100 miles of 18045 or if you live near one of my runs West, Southwest, or South. I would be glad to bring the bumper to Spring Carlisle if that would help someone out. If it does not sell by August I will bring it to Corvettes at Carlisle but I hope it sells sooner.
Pictures taken today so this is the bumper I have.
PayPal accepted only if you pick up the fees.
Cash on pickup also accepted.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
David Howard

Bump for a great price and a great guy...
I sold one just like this for same price last Fall.
Ernie at Willcox said he could not sell it so cheap.
Someone must need this.
Besides, David has given so much free stuff to so many of us....how about buying something from him?

I have had requests to pack and ship this bumper across the US. I made a decision for the New Year not to pack and ship large items across the US any longer. The only people making money on shipping such large items now are the packaging and shipping companies.
I'll work with a buyer on delivery and I have moved items quite a distance in the past to help forum members out, just not interested any longer in shipping large items across the US. AND, I am heading to Florida the middle of February to the Lakeland swap meet and I can bring it if I have a buyer in VA, NC, SC, GA, or FL. Options. Save a bunch on shipping. See this post (#71) if you want me to bring it South. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...g-parts-4.html
I hope you understand.
Best regards,
David Howard

That is how I came to decide I would not ship these bumpers, nor other large items and longer. Shipping has gotten terrible, wanted to charge a surcharge by weight due to cube, 191 pounds. That is why I won't ship larger items any longer, just too expensive to pack and ship.
Glad you got your bumpers.
Best regards,
David

I bought then from Corvette America, and at their request I worked thru them, not any real help, too many people involved that way, I'm not impressed with C A, and really not happy with ACI's bumpers, quality and uniformity very very pour, jell coat full of holes at edges, rear letter indents not stright, and depth of inset varied from deep to too shallow, I pointed it out in pics and reply was ,"we ll give you $50 bucks and take them to body shop to have them fixed", the front fit up so bad I would have to cut bumper apart and re-make it, also front grill openings were not the same on each side, and would not accept my original grills, I just had my fill of trying to get them even close to a doable fit, I have nothing good to say about it, very disappointed with both vendors! !!
