Readers who own 1970 Corvettes with AC and/or LT-1s. This is one of the rarest of all Corvette alternators. One in this condition has sold for up to $1500. I know! I own a factory AC equipped 1970 LS-5 with a 1100884.

Alternators rebuilt like this one go for $1200 up. If my 1970 LS-5 with AC needed this one I would buy it. But my car was built in April and I already have one. Super rare.

I had an 884 alternator on my 70 BB before I took it to an engine builder to have engine work done. He stripped it and replaced it with a piece of chinese crap. Very rare indeed.
The scam artist engine builder was buddy hendricks of florida performance machine. He recently had to change his name to buddy hendricks motorsports in Sanford FL. Funny thing he even stole someone elses business name whos actually reputable, but in a different state.
Sorry for the rant...just had to vent. GLWS, well worth the price.
