1969-1973 Frame
I am looking for a damaged 1969-1973 frame. Damage has to be limited to the front end of the frame. Anything in front of the transmission cross member is fine. Frame will be cut at the transmission cross member and used to repair a nice 1969 frame with bad rear section.
Let me know if you have something and where you have it located please.
I am not in a rush so my search continues as long as I need to find what I want.
Back half has to be in good condition, no rot at all. Surface rust okay if not extreme.
Thank you for your consideration and best regards,
David Howard

Burning Brakes
If by some chance you would be going to Bloomington I could meet you there. I have 2 '69 frames. First one has a perfect rear 2/3rds, was hit in the front side just forward of the drivers door. The second is a donor front with a rotted rear. I am in Eastern Nebraska.
I also have a near perfect '69 birdcage. Window frame is bright metal clean. The pillar post on the left side is crunched, was on the first frame above.

I got a question why I would not consider a 1968 frame. I am not opposed to using a 1968 frame and if I found a nice one I would add the vertical gussets to reinforce the kick up area of the frame.
I would just hate to restore a 68 and improve it and then not have it available for a 68 if someone needs a restored frame.
So long winded answer is I will consider 68 frames in addition to the 69-73 damaged frames mentioned above.
Thank you for the questions and best regards,
David Howard
