Default Original 70 Owner Manual with Card

Looking for an original 70 Owner's Manual with Card. Part Number will end in 666.

There are a few on eBay but I am hoping someone is willing to part with one for quite a bit less than the ones on eBay.

Thanks,

Default Owner's Manual

Certainly seems nice enough and I even purchased an NOS front Air Dam form him along with some other stuff.

I will try him.

Hope you are well.

Kind Regards,

Bill

At a tiny swap meet near me a few years ago I found one with the intact Corvette News full card. I almost passed it up. The front had a lot of wear but I paid $75. Now it seems it was a good deal.

Nice find to be sure. I thought for sure the one that came with the car was original until I researched a bit more. Certainly looked the part.

There are a few on eBay. Cheapest with the card is $250 with a lull nicer one for $265. The third one has a $500 OBO and is not nearly as nice as the other two and the card is there but detached. I had NO idea what the originals cost. I was pretty shocked.

Kind Regards,

Bill

Bill, I go to the local swap meets here in Texas. I even have a nice location space at our Pate Swap meets. This is a huge four day swap meet. I will look for one for you here but will not pay those exorbitant eBay prices. $100? $150 tops?

I would happily pay $150 for a decent one with a complete card.

Kind Regards,

Bill

One just popped up on eBay with the Corvette News card detached but with the manual for $500! The seller is apparently not a part of the hobby but a gouger. Maybe some company or Richard Fortier will reproduce the 666 manual exactly like originals but not with the word “Reprinted” on the back and reasonably priced.

Hi Scott,

I got in touch with David. He had mint owner's manual which I bought. It is like new with the card.

Kind Regards,

Bill

That is sweet. And I am happy for you. Having a 666 with the Corvette News card intact is a good feeling. What else are you needing?

I finally managed to get right and left original 1st Design exhaust tips but still look for more. I accumulated several pairs of 2nd Design tips and had them flash chromed. Not perfect but look great for driver 1970-1972 Corvettes. I sold one pair to a ‘72 owner who will attempt Top Flight soon.

Regards,
Scott

I would love to find a genuine NOS 350/350 Air Cleaner Decal. I have both my original 1st design tips in kind of rough shape and a set of Richard Fortiers 1st design tips. His tip are just like my originals IMHO. I would also love to find a really nice original black heel pad and the piece of carpet that goes behind the seats with the padding. Also would like some original carpet padding in decent shape.

Kind Regards,

Bill
