Default Motion valve covers

Vette is being built as a Baldwin Motion tribute. Taking pieces I like from the different styles to build one. Looking for a set of big block Motion valve covers. Also any other Motion items. Not looking for authentic or expensive pieces, trying to build on a budget! I know there’s a guy on Ebay making and selling Motion valve covers but looking to see if someone has an old pair lying around.

Thats the rub the old motion stuff isnt cheap,

What i did as a huge budget builder who likes those style covers i found the same bb cal custom covers motion used,
35.00 or 45.00 shipped.cant remember for sure,

In my case as fun im making a tag that looks like "MOTION" but really small over the word is the word "not"

The breathers are so weird im gonna run them,

Paid 25 shipped for a flyeye

Cheers

Thanks Bats. I know some of these Motion pieces are priced like gold! I’ve been keeping an eye out for those valve covers also and then figured I could get a Motion plate made or find someone who makes them. Do you know who made those valve covers or brand? The breathers are odd and I’ve seen them also with the round Motion sticker on them. The flyeye I’m going to skip as I’d be too worried about pieces falling into the carb/EFI.

Again I’m not trying to build an exact duplicate or pass it off as a Motion car but a tribute car with pieces I like, same paint scheme, plus some modern upgrades that the casual observer wouldn’t notice!

Yeah, in of themselves the cc valve covers are not high dollor then the little plate with motion on it real or rebob gets stuck there and bang like you said gold,
Ill warch too they pop up on craigslist cheap a lot.

I have no idea if i will run the flyeye or use it as shop art,
They were a flawed design
In my case i was going to have my real filter in my L88 scoop ca box the flyeye would seal to it with just fine wire screen inside it no foam

Bats, some have made these to help with the fly eye issues. I am sure it can be made out of some K&N filter tops or mr, gasket filter lids..

I had gone to the Andean site about two weeks ago. They list it but have no price or way of ordering. I sent them an email about purchasing but haven’t heard anything from them.

I actually ordered some Motion emblems from them about 7 years ago but not sure what their status is now.......
I NEVER get a reply when I e-mail ANYBODY in the aftermarket......you might want to try and call a human

I notice in these valve covers there is only one hole on each open with the other plug closed. In pictures of old Motion engines it looks like these were both open on each valve cover. Did he drill these out or were they made open at one time?
