I'm looking for the part that holds the blower fan and heater core inside the engine compartment in a car with no AC. I have a 1980 with AC (standard in 1980). I believe some 1978s and 1979s were available without AC, so that would be ideal, but it is possible that any year C3 would work, I don't know.

I'm looking to 3D print this part, or at least the side that holds the fan, so I can upgrade to the C4 blower at the same time. I'm hoping to avoid paying $200- for the ACDelete.com part (pictured below). Since I'll be modifying the part anyway, it can be cracked or discolored or whatever.

FWIW: AC was standard for 80-82.

Thanks Mike. I updated my original post. I'm not sure if 78 and 79 are different, so I'll consider any year, but I am trying to delete AC from my 1980. My wife's 79 is one of only 90% of all 79s that came with the AC option that year.

So it looks like any heater only cover, 69-79, will work. I have a lead on one, but wouldn't mind a spare for my other car.

The firewall opening in my 80 is 10.5 x 8"
