The previous owner of my car hacked the gauge console to fit a new radio so I purchased a new unit from zip, not realizing that the old unit is from a 71.
The 72 unit isn't built for the seat belt button that the previous years had so my old backplate/gauges won't fit.

If anyone knows where I can find a backplate or has one they don't mind parting with it'd be greatly appreciated.

I think that one I showed if from a 73 or 74? It doesn’t have a mechanical oil gauge on it. I’ll see if I have a true 72.

That may be it! I've had trouble even finding a picture online. The seat belt light area looks correct (ie different from my 71). Do you happen to have the shrouds that go over the indicator lights?

I think its a later 70’s one. I just looked it over again and it doesn’t have a mechanical oil gauge. Yours is a 2 year item. I did find one here for you -

72-72 have the single warning light on the left for the seatbelt with the bulb in the center. Mine has two warning lights on the left side.

This one looks correct with the one centrally located light bulb for the large fasten seat belt warning light.

Don't think 71 or earlier works as mentioned before because of the split function of that larger opening.

I have another one. Looking from the back left side 2 holes les on top says door ajar bottom head lamps. Right side from back fasten seat belts. Also includes 2 red lenses and guages don’t know how to post pics with email will try to send pics
