I have a 1966 Corvette so I feel a little out of place in the C3 parts forum. When I bought my car, it had numbers matching block and tranny, but it had some heads from a 1971 Corvette. The casting number is 3973487 with date codes of L180 and L70 (December 18 and 7 of 1970, if my research holds).

I have now decided to upgrade to some aluminum hump heads and would love to help out a fellow Corvette guy. I have received some help and would like to pay it forward.

Before deciding to upgrade the heads, my engine guy had them cleaned and magnafluxed. They are good heads. I’m happy to send these to someone who wants them. Heads are free, you just need to pay for shipping. I’m in North Salt Lake, UT. Let me know if you have interest.
