Have a 1970 #7020205 280th day production 454ci 390hp 4spd Q-Jet. Don't know if it needs rebuilt, had it laying around, looks clean on the outside, don't remember if I ever had it on a car. Would or could be a "correct restoration #'s carb" for someone having a '70 with this engine/trans combo. Fair Offers???

Paul, I don't have my JG handy but I think a 70 LS-5 4spd carb is a 7040205? I have seen these go unrestored for 4-5 hundred on ebay. Does it have the funky deceleration valve on it? It is used for the idal adjuster.

TNT, you are correct-just went out into the garage and checked. It is a "7040205" carb. Also I misread the date, it is the 260th day, not 280th day as I first thought.

That would be the correct one for me - bt I found a rebuilt replacement a month ago - sorry. Have any other parts for that car? Late 70 build.
