Hello. I'm looking to purchase a 1979 Corvette assembly manual. I see two listed on ebay right now and both of them say they are GM reproductions. Any of you out there know if there's any difference between them? One better than the other?
I bought the second link or bottom link to EBAY for $25 from either Ecklers or Mid America. Basically it's a good photo copy job. As far as the use, I've got grease stains all over it because I find very useful in trying to take things apart or finding out what is missing.
I would highly recommend to anyone who works on their own car to get one. I also have a Chiltons and a Corvette Restoration book.

i don't know why you wouldn't just buy this from Ecklers or some other vendor....for the same price...at least you are guaranteed its new and not missing pages....the 03/04 fall, winter ecklers catalog has it listed for 19.99
Go get a new sealed in plastic one from (corvette central) store catalog or online. Shouldn't be more that twenty bucks. If pages are missing or dirty/torn your just going to have grief!
