Rear Main Seal - I hate it, need help

I had the same problem, only mine was the new felpro gasket leaking. The mechanic took the pan off again, and used some rtv at the rear where it was leaking, it still leaked a little bit. I put in a new PVC valve and it stopped leaking. Now did it just decide to quit leaking or was the valve not relieving the pressure as it should?

I had replaced the rear seal about 10 years ago along with the valve cover gaskets ... glad it was the VCs and not the rear main that gave it up "so soon".

If you have to change the seal again try using a Mr. Gasket single lip seal I have had good success with these compared to the felpros. You can get these from Jegs or Summit, any speed shop should be able to help.
