I'm bummed!

Got my new mounted seat covers from Corvette America. I actually purchased them from Willcox but they were shipped from Corvette America. I was very excited and all set to install them today but they have to be sent back for replacement . The install job was pretty poor. The leather was pretty wrinkled, there were several marks in the leather from where the cow rubbed against a barbed wire fence and they generally did not fit well. My entire reason for buying the mounted covers on new foam was to get a very nice crisp "new" appearance. In any event, I spoke to Ron at CA and he promised to make things right. I hope it works out.

I would be interested to see some good pics from those who have replaced their interior so I know I'm not crazy.

BTW! No complaints with Willcox. Norm was my salesman there and provided me some of the best service I've ever had

I got mine from Norm at Willcox and was very pleased. I had a local shop put mine on. Covers and labor was less than $500. Here are a couple of pictures. Not the best but it will give you an idea.

Thanks for the replies guys!

UPS picked up the seats and I spoke to Ron at CA today. He advised that he sent the shop a note to make sure the new mounted seats are defect free and up to NCRS and more inportantly my standards. I sure hope the new ones get here soon as I'm really itchin to get them installed (got to keep forward momentum going).

Best of luck to you on your seats. I bought a pair of complete seats on eBay, and am anxiously awaiting the completion of "The Phoenix" project before I can put them in. I hate waiting.

That black vette called "mooneyd " is one smokin car. Everytime I see his post I have look at his photos again. A close look at your seat covers are they the leather/ vinyl original type or are they all leather ? Great Car.Thanx Brent
