You can get custom made leather for about $800 to $1k depending on design, or orig. leather mounted on cusions $700, or what many owners are going for, the new vinyl about $275 (no cusions). Check my photos.

Factory seats are reasonably priced and you will always be able to get them recovered. The 80 cushions are very comfortable as well and give good support. The only negative is the seat belt set up. A nice 5 point system with 80 seats would be ideal.

As for the factory seats. stay with the original leather with vinyl bolster material. It wears better than all leather and should treat you well for a couple of decades with proper care.

Finally, you have a choice of 2" or 4" bolsters. 2" is factory but if your are real skinny, the 4" will give some extra support

Try Willcox, Al Knoch or Corvetteworx...mounted covers on foam are about $565-$575 right now in leather & vinyl as per original

That's my 2 cents

STW! Platato!

I wish my '73 had seats as good as yours! Maybe better to work with what you have? Great seats...!

I would also keep the original seats as I did in my 81. I had them upholstered in leather and the door panels to match. See pictures

I'm partial to the 94-96 seats. Covers and cushions are available for re-doing. Good lumbar and thigh support.

Hi I'm Andrea, I am now running corvetteworx. I am going to be putting together a group purchase on these. I will be posting prices this evening. Let me know if you want to take part.
