Clutch Slip
Started out from a light in first and then went to 2nd gear yesterday and the motor just revved up and no acceleration for about 5 seconds.
(No the clutch pedel was not depressed)
I could not repeat the slip again for the rest of the drive. not nailing it, but trying to repeat the actual condition.
I have a Centerforce setup according to the bellhousing sticker, but not sure any other info as it came with the car. Been driving fine for over a year. 1968 - 427 No Power Nuthin'
Question:
I gunked the engine bay this weekend, including the rear part of the motor where bell housing meets block. Would any of the cleaner/water get in there and make a difference? if not... once the search function is back on line I will start reading for step by steps for new clutch, TO bearing and disk I guess
