Olivier,
Pick up about 13 quarts. The 2004r took 7 or 8 when I changed the fluid, but I didn't pull down the valve body OR have a dry converter like you do ATM.
My Bowtie instructions say to put a qt in the converter. They also state it akes about 11.5 qts to fill the tranny, but I am unclear on if that counts the 1 qt already in the converter.
Start with 5 qts, then run the engine and put the other 6 in, checking the dipstick. Yours might vary because of the external cooler.

I believe in the 200R if you put it in neutral instead of park the tranny pump will start circulating the fluid, I'd put in 6, fire the motor, put it in N and fill her up until full. Remember the fluid level is checked on level ground, motor running, tranny in Park.

thanks guys!!
Didn't get to fire the engine today..
Tomorrow will very likely be the big day...
Installed and hooked up the starter, hooked up the electrical water pump and installed the radiator and transmission cooler.. attached the tranny cooling lines already.. The only thing left to do is to hook up the fuel pump.. Still need to run a wire to the fuel pump and hook it up.. Other than that, I only need to fill up the oil and tranny fluid and I'm ready to start up the engine!!

I ended up with 11 quarts going into the trans when I put mine in. 1 in the convertor before I put it in and 10 in through the dipstick tube once it was all siad and done.
