Steering Wheel Replacement

I am planning on replacing my steering wheel this weekend. It is a 79 with tilt/telescoping option. The wheel is an original style leather wrapped, 3 spoke from Wilcox. Is there any tricks or special instructions I should know for this job? It seems like it should be pretty straightforward but just in case....Thanks in advance.
