Paint shop needed
Im located in Mass and am looking for a good paint shop to paint the vette. I dont want to pay 10K the resto shops are getting. Does anyone in the area know of a good paint shop in the area?

I know a guy. He might be able to set you up as a side job.
He is in Salem (MA). He's a painter, but doesn't deal with all the
detailes of prepping the car.
What does it need ? Total strip - prep - paint ?
If you were to get it close to ready for paint, he might be able to help you out.

The car is in very good shape body wise. The paint is fadeing and several chips have to be addressed. I think the care was repainted around 1991.
Most folks have said stripping the car is the only way to go. Im not a body / paint expert so im not sure the best way to proceed.
I had Rons corvette in Fitchburg look at it. They get 7K plus any body work needed. He said the average is about 10K per car.
