That high stall toque converter seems very streetable.. How do you like it so far?
Well - there's a noticable slip, but it ain't too bad.. Tranny temperature went up to 150 degrees... Coolant was higher than that because I was only running one of the little fans.. Still have to install a new permacool fan.. I got a 14 inch instead of the 16 inch fan because there isn't ehough space for the 16" fan because of the tranny cooler...

Might replace the dual Flex-a-Lite fans with the 16 " Pernacool fan.. Haven't decided yet..

...reported mine to Bowtie at 159 after the tests they have you run. Of course those test have a bunch of full throttle accelerations in all gears ,then one throug 1-3. They said no problem. I'm still going to install a separate cooler though and I'm not putting it anywhere near my radiator. That's the whole purpose of the separate cooler, at least IMHO.

I saw a Permacool one with its own fan that can be mounted anywhere.

I have a pretty heavy duty cooler.. It's actually for trucks towing motor homes...

The converter was custom built for my application and was almost $1k . It's a none-lockup race converter...

Sounds really good Oliver. I would have thought with open side pipes that is would have been louder.

My camera has some issues with the sound. The car is a lot louder than it seems, eventhough the new engine, which is a lot more radical than the old one, seems to be more quiet than the old one but I might be mistaken on that..
