should i remove the body
i bought a 75 vette for a hot rod project. i am in the process off building a 496 blower motor for it. i want to back half and tubb it. I'll probably go with an B&M street/strip tranny for it. the car is a 350CI car , that everythibng works on. the body is pretty good. i am wondering if it will ultimitly be eiser to remove the body and do all the work that way. any thought on this. i have made a deal with a buddy off mine . he helps me and gets the drive line for a hot rod project off his own.

With the proper tools and help, removing the body is no big deal. 8 bolts, in fact.
Not only will it make everything easier, but you'll be able to paint the whole frame up with Por-15 or something similiar to prevent rust.
